The Nazca Lines are one of the greatest archaeological mysteries in the world and one of Peru’s most fascinating ancient wonders. Located across the vast desert plains of southern Peru, these enormous geoglyphs were created by the ancient Nazca civilization more than 1,500 years ago. The figures, which include animals, plants, and geometric shapes, stretch across kilometers of desert and can be fully appreciated only from above.

Itinerary
- Early Morning Departure from Lima: The tour begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Lima. We travel south along the Pan-American Highway, crossing vast desert landscapes and coastal valleys. During the journey, the guide provides historical and cultural information about the Nazca civilization.
- Arrival in Nazca: Upon arrival in Nazca, we head to the local airfield or viewpoint area, depending on the selected tour option.
- Nazca Lines Experience: Visitors can observe the Nazca Lines through a scenic flight over the desert or from authorized viewpoints. During the experience, you will see some of the most famous figures, including the hummingbird, monkey, spider, condor, and geometric shapes. The guide explains the main theories regarding their purpose, such as astronomical, ceremonial, or water-related functions.
- Free Time and Lunch: After the Nazca Lines experience, there is free time in Nazca town. Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant (lunch not included unless specified).
- Return Journey: In the afternoon or evening, we begin the return journey to Lima or continue to the next destination, depending on the selected itinerary.
