Itinerary

Paracas & Ballestas Island
  • Early Morning Departure from Lima: The tour begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Lima. We travel south along the Pan-American Highway, passing coastal deserts and ocean views. During the journey, the guide provides information about the region and its marine ecosystem.
  • Arrival in Paracas: Upon arrival in the seaside town of Paracas, we head to the pier to prepare for the boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands.
  • Boat Tour to the Ballestas Islands: We board a motorboat and begin the excursion toward the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, we observe El Candelabro, a massive geoglyph carved into the desert hillside, visible from the sea. The guide explains the theories surrounding its origin.
  • As we approach the islands, you will see colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, seabirds such as pelicans, cormorants, and boobies, all living in their natural habitat. The boat tour allows close observation without disturbing the wildlife.
  • Return to Paracas and Free Time: After the boat excursion, we return to Paracas. There is free time to walk around the town, visit local shops, or relax by the coast.
  • Lunch Stop: Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant in Paracas (lunch not included unless specified).
  • Return to Lima: In the afternoon, we begin the return journey to Lima, arriving in the evening.
